Grupo Raminatrans obtains the revaluation of the AEO authorization

Grupo Raminatrans has obtained the revaluation of the authorization of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), customs simplification, protection and security during the success of the revaluation by the Tax Agency.

Rafael Milla, president of the company has assured that “we already have this certification since October 2009, but the entry in the application of the new CAU, on May 1, 2016, has required a revaluation of all certificates with higher and more stringent criteria. Don’t forget that our company got this certification as an authorized economic operator at the very beginning, being one of the first freight forwarders to be certified in our country. In Grupo Raminatrans we have the constant objective of optimizing our processes and achieving this revaluation is a successful way, without doubt, of improvement in the efficiency of our customs processes, which brings significant savings in time and money for our customers”.

In this new stage, the head of the AEO will be Juan Beltrán, General Director of Grupo Raminatrans, who refers that “this achievement has been possible thanks to the involvement of the entire management team, aware of the importance it has for a company as a Grupo Raminatrans to has been revalued, as well as the management, support and rigor in the application of AEO procedures on a day to day basis by all employees in all the departments that make up this great company possible “.

It must be remembered that the AEO operators are trusted partners of the customs administration, are subject to fewer controls and can accept the simplifications of the customs officers. The reduction of the dispatch times and the reduction of the controls, the facilities for the transport of data in a more fluid way allows a reduction of the costs. The figure of the AEO refers to reliable operative operators and those recognized in the logistics chain, the media, the movement of goods at the international level is carried out safely within the regulatory framework of the World Customs Organization (WCO).
