We inform you that as of Monday the 14th, an adjustment factor will apply to road transport prices, approved last December as a result of the call for an indefinite strike in the sector. The dramatic rise in fuel prices in recent weeks, aggravated by the conflict in Ukraine, has caused some transport associations to decide to call an indefinite strike starting Monday the 14th (as we reported yesterday in another statement), and immediately apply the adjustment factor on their prices indicated above.
At Grupo Raminatrans we are waiting for the publication of the aforementioned adjustment factor to review and adjust the prices that we have quoted for them to the new market circumstances. In any case, the new prices will apply to any transport carried out after 03/14, and they will be informed as soon as possible.
The reference website to see the variation in the price of diesel is the website of the ministry (https://www.mitma.gob.es/transporte-terrestre/servicios-al-transportista/indice-de-variacionmensual-de-los- average-prices-of-diesel-in-spain).
The problem is that these values are updated with a delay of 2 months and still do not include these strong increases.
At Grupo Raminatrans we have taken as a reference the prices of the following website (https://www.dieselogasolina.com/Estadisticas/Historico) which we have seen accurately and realistically reflects the prices seen at gas stations.
However, we must not forget that this website is an UNOFFICIAL website that Grupo Raminatrans has taken as a reference, just as other companies are taking this and other sources as a reference to reach the same conclusions and values.
The legislation that reflects the calculation rules to calculate the price revision for fuel increases is as follows:
Order FOM/ 2184/ 2008 https://www.boe.es/eli/es/o/2008/07/23/fom2184.
We take the opportunity to include the updated table with today’s diesel prices with a couple of notes at the foot of the table:
